As per the reports from the forecasters, the Atlantic hurricane in the year 2010 will be more than just normal. There are about 15 storms and from these 15, about 8 can turn into hurricanes. In fact among these 8 hurricanes, there are chances that four can even turn out to be major ones. This means that they might be of the category 3 or at the higher end on the Saffir-Simpson scale.  The category 3 storms can have the winds of up to 111 mile per hour. The probability, as per the forecast, of the major hurricane to come along the coastline is about 69% which is quite a considerable percentage. However, this forecast is just preliminary and this will be revised and again released on the 2^nd of June and then again on the 4^th of august.
